Glass fences

Glass fence

We install tempered glass fences on the South Shore. Transparent panels mounted on an aluminum frame — you get a clear view of the backyard without compromising safety. Compliant with Quebec pool standards, built for our winters, and a whole lot more elegant than a standard fence.
Tempered glass fence around a pool with modern landscaping
We use 12 mm tempered glass mounted on an aluminum frame. Each panel is secured with stainless steel hardware, anchored in posts set below the frost line. The result: a solid fence that lets the light and view through, without sacrificing safety.

Certified tempered glass
We work with 12 mm tempered glass that meets Quebec pool safety standards. On impact, the glass breaks into small non-cutting pieces — not sharp shards.
Unobstructed view
No bars, no slats, no visual obstruction. Glass lets the light and the view through to the backyard, the garden or the pool. You can see the kids playing, the landscape stays intact.
Aluminum frame
The panels are mounted on an aluminum frame that doesn't rust and requires zero maintenance. Clean lines, thin profile — the glass stays the focal point.

Testimonial

"We had tempered glass installed around the pool. The view is completely clear, we can see the kids from anywhere in the yard. It's been two winters and the panels are still perfect — not a single crack, not a joint that's moved."

Glass fence: your questions

Everything you want to know about tempered glass fences — safety, standards, installation and maintenance.

Is glass safe for a pool fence?

Yes. We use 12 mm tempered glass that meets Quebec pool safety standards. On impact, it breaks into small non-cutting pieces instead of shattering into shards. It's the same type of glass found in glass showers and commercial railings.

What thickness of glass do you use?

We install 12 mm thick tempered glass. That's the standard for residential pool fences — thick enough to withstand impacts and Quebec's weather conditions.

Can glass handle Quebec winters?

Yes. Tempered glass handles freeze-thaw cycles without any issues. The aluminum posts are set below the frost line and the hardware is stainless steel — everything is built to last in our climate.

How long does installation take?

Two days minimum. We pour the concrete bases on day one, and once it's cured, we mount the posts and glass panels. It can take longer depending on the length of the run and access to the property.

Do I need a municipal permit?

It depends on your municipality. Most South Shore cities require a permit for fence installation, especially around a pool. We know the regulations in the area and we can guide you on that.

How do I get a quote?

Fill out the online form with your lot dimensions and a few photos. We'll get back to you with a detailed quote, including glass panels, frame and labour. It's free with no obligation.
